P. S. Overseas

We’ve been out here on Delhi Road at the 8 Km. Mile Stone for a good while now. It’s a busy stretch of road and most days we are just trying to keep up with everything coming in and out of the yard. P. S. Overseas isn't a fancy place by any means. We have a simple setup where we handle all our shipping and storage stuff. It gets pretty dusty with all the trucks passing by all day, but that’s just how it is around this part of the highway. Most of us have been working together for years and we know the routines. If you come by in the morning, you’ll probably see a few of us drinking tea near the main gate before the real rush starts. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just look at the orders, get the boxes ready, and make sure things go where they need to go. Sometimes the power goes out or a shipment gets delayed at the border, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of all the papers. We started small and stayed that way mostly because it’s easier to manage the daily headaches ourselves. You get to know the drivers and the local guys pretty well when you stay in one spot for this long. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here. We don't have a big front office to show off, just the workspace.
