Olympian Crafts

You can find Olympian Crafts over in Pacca Bagh, not too far from the Haji Maqbool Quarters. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people in the area know the way. We focus on making and selling different craft items, mostly things people use for decoration or gifts. Our workshop is right there in the building, and it’s usually quite messy with scraps of material and tools lying around. We don't really have a showroom, so if you come by, you’ll probably see us right in the middle of a project. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who like working with our hands. We started this because we wanted something local to do. The area around Haji Maqbool Quarters is pretty residential, so it’s quiet enough for us to focus. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People just hear about us from their friends or neighbors. Sometimes we get a big order and everyone has to pitch in to get it finished on time. Those days are long and we usually end up drinking a lot of tea to keep going. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place where things get made by hand, and we’re happy with that. If the door is open, you’re welcome to peek in and see what we’re working on that day. We just stay busy and keep making things.
