Ojas Traders

Ojas Traders is situated on Kila Road in Ram Nagar, very close to the Ramnagar Railway Station. Because we are so near the tracks, we hear the trains coming and going throughout the day and night. It is a sound we have grown very used to over the years. Our shop is a simple building with a wide front door that we usually keep wide open. We don't have any air conditioning, so we just use a couple of old fans to keep the air moving when the weather gets hot and sticky. Most of the people who visit us are local residents from Ram Nagar or travelers who have just stepped off the train. We keep a variety of stock on some sturdy wooden shelves and in a back room that is always a bit dark. There are no fancy lights or glass display cases here. We just put things where we have the space. Sometimes the neighbor's cat comes in to nap on the sacks in the corner, and we just let it be. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. We don't use any slogans or marketing tricks to get people in. Most folks find Ojas Traders just by walking past on Kila Road. We take things one day at a time, filling orders and sweeping the floor before we close up for the night. It is a basic, honest way to run a business and we are happy being right by the railway station.
