Nidhi Creations

The area around Town Hall is always bustling, and our spot is right in the middle of all that energy. It can get pretty loud with the traffic and the people outside, but once you step inside Nidhi Creations, it’s a different kind of busy. We usually have several sewing machines running at once, which creates a constant hum that you eventually stop noticing. There are scraps of fabric everywhere and measuring tapes draped over almost every chair. We don’t have a fancy reception area because every inch of space is needed for the cutting tables and the storage racks. Most of us here have worked with needles and thread for a long time, so we just get on with it. Sometimes we run out of a specific color of thread and someone has to run out into the market to find a match. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy meetings; we just look at the designs and start working. If a customer comes in, they usually have to navigate around a few piles of material to get to us. It’s honest work and we like the feeling of finishing a piece and seeing it ready to go. The lighting isn't always the best in the corners, but we make do with what we have. It’s just a local shop doing what we know how to do every day without much fuss.
