Namdhari Printers

Our shop is at Plot No 9 on Kot Road. We are directly across from the Police Club, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Namdhari Printers is a working shop, so it’s usually quite loud with the sound of the machines. We have been in this spot for a long time. The floor is concrete and has a few stains from ink, but that’s expected in our line of work. We have large tables where we stack the paper and finished jobs. It is not a place where we worry about how everything looks to a visitor. The walls are mostly bare except for some old shelves. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning, so the fans are always on high during the summer. Kot Road is a busy street with plenty of vehicles passing by. We like being near the Police Club because the area stays fairly orderly. We start our mornings by checking the equipment and getting the first batch of work started. It is a steady rhythm that we have followed for years. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just print what people need and make sure it’s ready on time. It is honest, practical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’re happy with our little corner of the road and the daily grind of the presses.
