If you come to Sambhal, you will find us in the Bhoora area of Sarai Tarin. This is where most of the bone work happens. Our mill has been here for years. It’s an old building, and honestly, it looks a bit worn out, but the machines inside work just fine. We process bones for different uses. It’s a messy job and the smell is something you have to get used to, but it’s our trade. My grandfather was doing this before us. We have a few rooms where the material is stored and then moved to the grinding area. The workers here have been with us for a long time, so they know exactly how to handle the equipment without needing much direction. We don't really have a website or a marketing person. We just deal with the suppliers and the buyers directly. Most of our day is spent making sure the quality is what it should be and that the bags are ready on time. The street outside is narrow, so loading the trucks is always a bit of a challenge. We have to coordinate with the neighbors so we don't block the way for too long. It’s a very local kind of life here. We open early in the morning and work until it’s dark. There’s always something to fix or some material to move around. It's just how we live and work in Sambhal.
