If you look for us in Meerpur, we are tucked away in Saraswati Colony. It is a quiet enough place most of the time, which helps when you have a lot of packing to do. Gulf India Exports has been operating out of this spot for a good while now. We spend a lot of our time dealing with boxes and tape and making sure the labels are stuck on right. Moving things from Saraswati Colony out to where they need to go involves a lot of coordination with local drivers. We don't have a giant warehouse with robots; it’s mostly just us moving stuff around by hand and checking the lists. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, especially when things are going far away, but that’s just the nature of the job. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise late at night when we are loading up a truck. We have a small desk area where we keep the records, though it usually ends up covered in coffee mugs and scrap paper. It’s not a corporate environment by any stretch. We wear what’s comfortable and work until the day’s tasks are finished. On Fridays, things usually slow down a bit, and we get a chance to clean up the workspace before the next week starts all over again with more crates and shipping forms.
