Metal Trends

Metal Trends is over on Asim Bihari Road in Galshaheed, and we use P.O. Box No.146 for our mail. The road is always crowded with people and carts, so it’s a lively place to be. We’ve been working here for quite a while. The shop is full of the smell of cut metal and grease. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes are usually stained by the end of the shift. We don’t have a big corporate office or a polished showroom. It’s just the workshop where we spend most of our hours. Some days are really hot, especially in the summer when the metal gets warm to the touch. We keep a few big fans running, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make things that last. My neighbor helps out sometimes when we have a big order to get through. We drink tea from the stall across the street at least three times a day. It’s a bit of a ritual for us. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening. We don't have any fancy talk about our goals. We just show up and get to work. It’s a hard way to earn a living but it’s what we know. People around here know us for being reliable, even if the shop looks a bit cluttered.
