Metal Collection Inc.

We have been here in Petal Nagri at A-348 for a long time. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first opened the doors to this place. It used to be much quieter, but now there are houses and small shops everywhere. We work mostly with different types of metal pieces. It is loud work and your hands get dirty within five minutes of starting the shift. Most of the guys here live close by so they usually just walk to work. We have an old fan that makes a rattling sound, but it keeps us cool enough in the hot summer months. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we get our morning snacks. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of our notes are written on scraps of paper or right on the workshop wall. Metal Collection Inc. is a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure things get done. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Sometimes we forget to answer if the machines are running too loud and we can't hear it. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it’s sturdy. We keep our tools organized, mostly because losing a wrench wastes too much time. It's not a glamorous job, but we've been doing it so long it's just second nature now. We like it here and everyone knows each other.
