Our office is at Plot No. 211 in Lajpat Nagar. We are right across from the police station, so it’s a very safe feeling spot to work. We’ve been in this building for a few years and it’s served us well. Most of what we do involves handling international orders and coordinating with different suppliers. It’s not a very glamorous job. There’s a lot of time spent staring at clipboards and making sure the numbers match up. We have a small staff and we all sit in one main room together. It can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner. Lajpat Nagar is a busy area, so finding parking can be a real headache for us and for anyone coming to see us. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything, just a few chairs and our desks. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the orders processed and the shipping labels printed correctly. It’s a lot of repetitive work but we’ve gotten pretty good at it over time. We just try to stay on top of the pile of papers on our desks and hope the delivery trucks arrive when they say they will.
