La-Mode International

La-Mode International is based out of H-9 in Dev Vihar Colony, over in the Civil Lines area. It’s a pretty decent neighborhood, a bit quieter than the main markets, which we appreciate when we’re trying to focus on our tasks. We’ve been here for several years now. The office is basically just a converted part of a larger building. It's where a few of us sit and handle all the international orders that come through. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand. Usually, that means checking samples, talking to the factory, and making sure the shipping documents are in order. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, and sometimes it gets a bit tedious. We have some tea in the afternoon, maybe chat about the weather for a bit, and then get back to it. Our setup is simple—a few computers, some filing cabinets, and a big table for looking at materials. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office or expensive furniture. We just want to make sure the work is done right so our clients aren't complaining later on. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays at the port, but we do our best to stay on top of it.
