Kushwaha Sweets House

Kushwaha Sweets House is right by the New Bus Stand on Amoli Road. Since we are in Kora Jahanabad, there is always a lot of noise from the buses and people traveling. It is a very busy spot to be in. We get people coming in straight from the bus stand who are tired and just want something to eat before they head out again. The shop isn't very big, but we make sure it stays clean. Every morning we get the stove going and start the day's work. You can hear the engines of the buses revving all day long. Sometimes the dust from Amoli Road blows in, so we are always wiping down the counters. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It's just a regular sweet shop with glass cases. People like to stand outside and talk while they eat. In the evenings, it gets even more crowded when everyone is heading home. We see travelers from all over who are just passing through Kora Jahanabad. It’s a lot of work and our hands are always busy. We don't spend much time sitting down. The routine is the same every day, from the time we open until we pull the shutters down late at night. It is just how life is at a bus stand. We are used to the noise and the constant movement of people. It keeps us on our toes all the time.
