Kazmi Emporium

Kazmi Emporium is located right in the heart of the city near Jama Masjid. It is one of the most crowded and lively areas you could imagine. The shop itself is quite old and has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit cramped. We have shelves filled with all sorts of things, and it can be hard to see everything at once. We’ve been here for a very long time, through all kinds of changes in the neighborhood. People come from all over to visit the mosque and they often wander into our shop while they are here. The streets outside are narrow and full of rickshaws, pedestrians, and the smell of street food. It can be very loud with everyone shouting and the calls to prayer from the mosque. We don't have any modern marketing or a fancy website. We just stay open and talk to whoever walks through the door. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We spend a lot of time just chatting with neighbors or regular customers who have been coming to us for years. The shop is a bit dusty and the lighting isn't the best, but it has a history that we are part of. It’s a busy, hectic life in this part of town, but we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office. We just keep going.
