Jaco Export Corporation

Jaco Export Corporation is based out of Jaco House in Mufti Tola. It’s an old building, but it’s sturdy and gives us all the room we need for our work. Mufti Tola has its own character, with narrow streets and lots of history. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we’re well-settled into the rhythm of the area. Most of our day is spent checking over items before they are packed into crates. We export quite a lot of different things, so we have to be careful with the packing. You don’t want things breaking halfway across the world. The floors in Jaco House are a bit uneven in places, and the stairs creak when you walk up them, but it feels like home to us. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for years. We know each other's habits and how to get the job done without needing to say much. It’s not a flashy setup. We have old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. But they work fine for what we need. When it rains, the sound on the roof is really loud, which is something you just get used to. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the crates out on time. It's a quiet life in a way, even with all the shipping and receiving going on.
