Iswariya Social Welfare Foundation

We are located at 155, Kuncha Parmeshwari Dass in Rampur. It’s an older part of town, so the streets are narrow and you have to be careful where you park your bike. Iswariya Social Welfare Foundation operates out of this local spot. We’ve been in Uttar Pradesh for a while, and we like the feeling of being right in the middle of the community. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a door and a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and files. We spend most of our time out and about, but this is where we meet to catch our breath. People in Rampur are very connected, so word gets around fast whenever we are starting a new project. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being honest and doing what we say we are going to do. Sometimes it’s hard to get everything done because there are only a few of us, but we don't mind the long hours. We’ve all lived around here long enough to know what the real needs are. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s satisfying in its own way. We just keep our heads down and do the work, one day after the next. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us sorting through papers or talking on the porch.
