Imperial Gifts

Imperial Gifts is in a pretty old building that used to be an ice factory over by Galshaheed Chowk. You can still tell it was a factory because of how the walls are built. We have been here for a while now and the place is filled with all sorts of things people give as presents. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling and they are packed with frames, vases, and little knick-knacks. It gets a bit dusty because the building is old and we are right near the busy chowk where the rickshaws are always honking. Sometimes it is hard to hear yourself think when the traffic gets heavy outside. We spend a lot of time wrapping things in shiny paper and making sure nothing breaks. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool even when it is hot outside which is a nice thing about this old ice factory. We don't do much advertising or anything. People just walk in when they are going past the chowk and need a quick gift for a wedding or a birthday. It is a bit disorganized if I am being honest, but we know where everything is hidden. Sometimes we find things we forgot we even had. It’s a bit of a maze but people seem to like looking through everything we have in stock. It is just a local shop trying to keep the shelves full.
