H.K. & Sons

Lajpat Nagar is always a crowded place. B-824 is right in the thick of it. H.K. & Sons has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It is a family thing. You will often see a couple of us sitting around the main desk arguing. We usually talk about where the latest shipment went or who forgot to write down an order. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We never seem to find the time to actually move the inventory to do it. There are stacks of items everywhere you look. Sometimes it is hard to find a chair that isn't holding a bag or a box. We deal with a lot of different people every day. Some are just looking. Others know exactly what they want and don't want to chat. We keep the ledger on the front counter. It is usually messy with scribbles and ink stains. It is not a corporate office by any means. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking sound. We have gotten used to it over the years. Being at B-824 means we see all the street life of Lajpat Nagar from our doorstep. It is loud and a bit chaotic. That is just how things are for us. We try to keep things moving.
