Helpline Telecom System is located on the first floor of Plot No 86, right on Hallet Road. It’s a busy area because Mandi Chowk is nearby and there’s always something going on in Tobacco Street. We are directly opposite the fire station, so we see the trucks going out quite often. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, but once you’re inside, there’s enough room for us to work on the telecom stuff. It gets pretty loud outside during the day with all the traffic and people going to the market. We spend most of our time dealing with phones and systems, trying to keep up with everything that breaks or needs fixing. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with tools and parts scattered around. We’ve been in this part of town for a long time, so we know most of the shop owners nearby. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall near the chowk when things get slow. Living and working around Hallet Road means you get used to the noise and the crowds. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. It’s an honest way to make a living and we like being right in the middle of the action near the fire station. We don't need a lot of space, just enough to keep the tools organized and the customers happy when they visit.
