Hamsa International

Hamsa International is based on Delhi Road in the Milan Vihar area. Being on Delhi Road means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks. Our office in Milan Vihar is where we handle all our international trade bits. It’s a lot of paperwork, checking shipping dates, and making sure the containers are where they should be. We deal with people from all over, which is interesting, even if we’re just sitting in a small room in India. The air conditioner breaks down more often than we’d like, so it gets a bit stuffy. We have stacks of files everywhere because we haven't gone fully digital yet. It feels more real to have the papers in your hand anyway. We started small and just gradually added more clients as the years went by. It’s not a flashy job. Most of the work is just boring coordination, but it’s what we know how to do. The guys in the warehouse are always busy loading stuff up. We try to stay organized, but with so many moving parts, something always goes a bit sideways. We just fix it and move on to the next task. It's been like this for years now and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the road and the export business. It's just how things work in this part of town.
