Glister Handicrafts

Our place is tucked away in Zahid Nagar. If you look for Bhoore Mian Wali Gali, you will eventually find us. We are quite close to Kamil Hospital, which is how most people find the street. Glister Handicrafts isn't a big factory or a fancy store with a big window. It is more like a series of rooms where people are busy making things by hand. There is always the smell of wood or polish or whatever materials we are using that day. It can get a bit messy with scraps and tools all over the floor, but that is how handicrafts go. We do not have a website that works properly, and we definitely do not have a marketing team. We just have people who know how to make things well with their hands. The street outside is narrow, so big trucks cannot really get in here. We use smaller rickshaws to move the finished goods out to the main road. It is a lot of manual labor and sitting on the floor. Sometimes it is very hot, and we use old pedestal fans to keep the air moving. People in the neighborhood often drop by to say hello. It is a community feel here. We have been doing this for a long time, passed down through the family mostly. It is not a glamorous job, but we like seeing the finished products ready to go. We just do the work.
