Our place is right on the 19 Km Stone along NH-24, which is the Delhi-Moradabad Road. If you know the Burhanpur area in J.P. Nagar, you probably passed by us many times without thinking much about it. Being out here by the highway means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going back and forth all night and day. We’ve set ourselves up here because it makes it easier for moving things in and out, even if it feels a bit far from the main city centers. The building itself is pretty plain. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Usually, there is some tea being made in the back and someone is checking the papers for the day's load. It gets quite hot in the summers, especially with the sun hitting the road right in front of us. We have a small crew and most of them live nearby, so they don't have to deal with the long highway commute. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but there is always something to load or unload. People stop by sometimes asking for directions because we are a visible landmark on this stretch of the road. We just tell them where the next turn is and get back to work. It’s not a glamorous spot, but it works for what we do here at Garden India.
