Designers Designs

You can find us over at 52P 16 Prince Road. It’s a bit of a weird address to explain to delivery drivers sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the local couriers know the spot. The name on the door is Designers Designs, though inside it looks more like a workshop than a design studio. There are scraps of material and sketches pinned up everywhere. I’ll be honest, it’s not the tidiest place in the world. We’re usually too busy working on a project to worry about where every single pencil went. We do a lot of custom work, so there’s always something different happening on the big table in the center. One day it might be some layout for a client and the next we’re trying to figure out a new pattern. The light in the afternoon is actually pretty good through the front window, which helps when we're trying to see small details. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who actually enjoy making things. It gets a bit noisy when the machines are running, but we don't mind. We aren't looking to be the biggest firm out there. We just like having our own space where we can focus on the work without too many distractions. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us covered in dust or ink, just getting through the day's list. It's a busy place but we like it.
