Designer Impex

Designer Impex is located right behind the Hanuman Murti on the By-Pass Road. If you miss the turn at the statue, you have to go quite a way down to find a place to turn back, so we tell everyone to look for the big orange figure. Our place is more of a workshop and storage area than a fancy corporate office. We deal with imports and exports, so there is always a lot of activity with trucks coming and going. The air can be a bit dusty because of the bypass road right there, but we keep the doors shut as much as possible. Inside, it is mostly workstations and piles of packing material. We are a small team and most of us have known each other for a long time. There isn't much hierarchy here; we all just pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s checking an invoice or helping load a crate. The lighting isn't the best, but it works for what we do. We have a small radio that plays local stations in the background while we work. It’s a busy environment and things can get a bit chaotic when three shipments arrive at once. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just rely on doing our work properly so that people keep coming back to us. It is a gritty, hardworking sort of place, and that suits us just fine. You won't find any shiny reception desks or corporate brochures here, just real people getting the job done.
