Designer Glass

Designer Glass is situated over in the Harthala Industrial Area, right near those big cement godowns. It’s a pretty busy part of town with trucks moving in and out all day long. Being here means things get a bit dusty sometimes because of the cement nearby, but we’re used to it by now. The shop itself isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we handle different types of glass work. Most days, you’ll find us busy with the cutting tables or trying to organize the heavy sheets that just arrived from the suppliers. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the daily routine hasn't really changed much over the years. We start early when the air is still a bit cool before the industrial heat really kicks in. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving stuff around carefully so nothing breaks. Sometimes it feels like we’re just part of the background noise of this industrial zone. People find us mainly because they know the landmark of the cement godowns. We don't spend a lot of time on office stuff or sitting at desks; we'd rather be out on the floor getting the orders ready for whoever needs them. It’s loud, it’s a bit messy, and there’s always something that needs cleaning up, but that is just how a glass business operates when you’re in the thick of it. We just focus on getting through the tasks and making sure things are finished before we lock up.
