You can find Desai Agencies at Plot No. 9 in the Gadi Khana area of Katghar. We are situated right near the main road, which means there is never a moment of silence. The sound of horns and traffic is just something we have grown used to over the years. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and inventory. We don't have a decorated showroom or a place for people to sit and wait. It is a working agency, so things are constantly being moved around. The floor is concrete and we have a few heavy-duty shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We use an old desk that has been with us since the start. It is covered in pens, sticky notes, and half-empty water bottles. The lights are a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, there are a couple of delivery guys hanging around the entrance waiting for their turn. We share a wall with another small shop and we can often hear their radio playing. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. As long as the stock is accounted for and the orders are going out, we are happy. It is a bit of a grind, especially when the weather is humid, but we just keep at it. Katghar is a busy place and we fit right in.
