Dec Home Collection

Our place, Dec Home Collection, is situated in Kohna Mughal Pura, right behind the Imam Bara. It is a historic kind of area, and you can feel that when you walk through the streets. Being behind the Imam Bara means it can get very crowded during certain times of the year, but we are used to the ebb and flow of the crowds. The building we work out of isn't new, and it has its quirks, like the way the door sticks in the heat or the dim light in the back rooms. But it is home to us. We deal with all sorts of things for houses, and there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around. Our hands are usually a bit dusty by lunch time. We don't have a website that looks like a magazine. We just have our shop and the items we keep in stock. If you come by, you will probably see us in the middle of moving boxes or writing out lists on bits of paper. We aren't corporate people. We are just local workers trying to make a living in Mughal Pura. We know our neighbors and we know our business. It is a simple setup, but it works for us and has for a long time. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, and try to keep things organized enough to find what we need when we need it.
