Our office is located in Civil Line, right near the PNS School. It’s a relatively quiet spot compared to the main market, which makes it easier for people to pull up and talk about their trips. We have a couple of desks and a lot of printed out schedules pinned to the walls. We handle a lot of different travel requests, from families wanting to go on a pilgrimage to businessmen needing a car for a few days. It is mostly just answering phones and writing down dates in our ledger. We don't have a website that does everything for you; we prefer just talking to people. Sometimes the school bells across the street get a bit loud, but it helps us keep track of the time. We have a few drivers who have been with us for years, and they usually hang around the front when they aren't out on a job. It is a very local operation. We know most of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away. We don't try to sell anyone on expensive packages they don't need. We just figure out the best way to get them from one place to another. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our break. It’s a slow and steady way to run a business and we just focus on getting the routes right for everyone. Most days, the office door is just left open for the breeze.
