Brass Designer

Our workshop, Brass Designer, is located at H-35 in Lajpat Nagar. It’s a residential-style building that we’ve converted into a working space. Lajpat Nagar is a lively part of the city, and being at H-35 puts us right in the middle of all that local energy. The space inside is quite cramped because we have so many designs and finished pieces taking up the rooms. We use the front area for most of our assembly work. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a sleek lobby or a receptionist. Usually, someone is hunched over a bench with a set of tools, and there might be some scrap metal sitting in the corner. We like the neighborhood feel of being here. You can hear the vegetable sellers calling out on the street and the sound of cars navigating the narrow lanes. The lighting isn't perfect, so we have a few extra lamps plugged in around the benches. Our day starts early and usually runs late into the evening. We don’t spend much on advertising; we just stay busy with whatever project is currently on the table. It’s a simple operation at H-35. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with the quality of the brass work than the look of the office. It’s a real, working shop where we put in the hours every single day. That's just how we do things at Brass Designer.
