You can find us on Ram Pur Road, right across from the Hanumanji Murti. It’s a great landmark because everyone knows where it is. Being right on the main road means we see a lot of activity throughout the day. The traffic can be a bit much, especially during the morning rush, but it keeps things interesting. Our building is a simple structure where we keep all our import and export goods. We have a lot of crates stacked up near the entrance. Most of the work involves checking the contents against the manifests and making sure everything is labeled correctly. We have a few desks near the window where we handle the billing and the phone calls. The sun shines right in during the afternoon, so it gets pretty warm inside. We usually have a few fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a busy atmosphere with people coming and going. We don’t have a lot of formal meetings or fancy presentations. We just talk about what needs to be shipped out that day and who is coming to pick up what. The guys working in the back are always moving stuff around to make room for new arrivals. It’s a constant cycle of unloading and loading. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the local drivers and the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a solid place to work and we just keep at it every day.
