You can find us at Shop No. 1 in the Akshay Complex. It’s right on Eidgah Road, not too far from the Sambhal Chauraha. That intersection is always a mess with traffic, so it’s usually better to walk if you’re nearby. Anand Trading Company has been in this unit for several years now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy moving boxes to worry about that. We trade in all sorts of things, and the inventory changes based on what’s available or what people are asking for that month. It’s a lot of loading and unloading. I usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet when I'm alone. The Akshay Complex is a decent building, though the parking is always tight. Most of our neighbors are good people, and we all look out for each other's shops. When the weather gets really hot, we keep the fan going full blast, but it doesn't do much. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to make sure the orders are right and the customers leave without complaining too much. It’s a simple life of buying and selling. Nothing fancy. Just a lot of paperwork and heavy lifting every single day. That's how it goes at the shop near the chauraha. We just stay busy and keep the doors open.
