Ali Rice Export & Import

Our office and warehouse are located on SH 34, right in the Moti Nagar Colony. Ali Rice Export & Import has been operating from this location for some time now, and we have seen the area change a bit. Being right near the highway makes it much easier for the big trucks to get in and out, though the traffic can be a real headache during the rush hours. We spend our days dealing with a lot of paperwork and even more heavy bags of rice. The Moti Nagar area is a decent spot, fairly busy but not too chaotic compared to the center of town. We have a small team here who just get on with things. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know the routine and don't need much instruction. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit waiting for people. Usually, someone just yells from the back of the warehouse if a visitor walks in. The walls are lined with old samples and some calendars from years ago. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so we keep the big metal shutters open as much as we can to let some air in. Dealing with exports and imports means there is always something being weighed or labeled for a long trip. It is mostly just about keeping track of the numbers and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly before they head out. We don't try to sound like some big international corporation. We are just a local business on the SH 34 stretch doing our best to keep the shipments moving. It is plain work, but it keeps us busy from early Monday until Saturday evening when we finally close up for the week.
