Ahmad Brass Corporation is situated in the Old Ice Factory building in the Galshaheed neighborhood. It’s an old landmark that most people in the area recognize easily. The building itself has a lot of character, with thick walls that stay surprisingly cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Working in a place that used to be an ice factory means the layout is a bit unusual, but it works fine for us. We handle a lot of brass work here, so there is always a bit of metallic dust and the smell of polish in the air. Galshaheed is a tight-knit place where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. We have our workstations set up in the main hall where the light is best. It isn’t a modern office by any stretch of the imagination. We use old wooden tables that have been here for years. You’ll often hear the sounds of hammering or metal being moved around coming from our section of the factory. We don’t bother with fancy signage or a polished front desk. If someone needs us, they just walk in through the main entrance. It’s a very hands-on environment where the focus is strictly on the metal. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time now. The history of the Old Ice Factory is part of our daily life, and we’re just another part of the busy trade going on in Galshaheed. We keep our heads down and focus on the brass.
