Abdul Wajid & Co.

The business of Abdul Wajid & Co. is located in Galshaheed Pukhta Bagh. This neighborhood has a lot of history and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our workshop is tucked away and isn't very easy to find if you don't know the area well. We spend our days working on whatever orders have come in that week. It’s a lot of hand-on work and we don't use much fancy machinery. Most of what we do is learned from years of just doing it. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of materials stored up in the corners. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, you just walk in and you'll find someone busy working. We talk to our customers directly and there aren't any middle managers here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is here. We like being in Galshaheed because it feels like home to us. The people around here are friendly and we all help each other out when needed. We don't have a big website or a social media page. We just focus on the tasks at hand and making sure everything is finished correctly before it leaves our door. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We hope that the work we do is enough and that we can stay here for another decade.
