Comet Handicrafts

We are located out at the 14 KM Mile Stone on Delhi Road, specifically in the Lodhipur Rajpoot area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like having the extra space. The road outside is always busy with trucks and buses headed toward Delhi. Inside our gates, it’s all about the handicrafts. We have a lot of space for storage and working on the bigger items that come through. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces and wiping things down. It’s a straightforward operation here. No one is wearing a tie or sitting in a glass office. We are usually out on the floor checking the pieces or talking to the craftsmen about the next batch. Lodhipur Rajpoot is a hardworking area, and we fit right in with that vibe. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the summer, so we tend to start early to beat the heat. We’ve been at this 14 KM mark for quite a while now. Everyone knows the mile stone, so it’s easy for the delivery drivers to find us. We just focus on getting the items ready and making sure they are packed properly for the long haul. It’s a simple life out here on the road, but there is always plenty of work to keep us occupied until we close up for the evening.
