About Autoline Industries (Thermoplastic Road Safety Marking Material) – Plastic in Moosarambagh
We are based in Moosarambagh, and our work is mostly about the stuff you see on the roads but never really think about. We deal with thermoplastic marking materials, which is basically the thick, tough paint used for lane lines and zebra crossings. Our place at H No 16-11-16/A/10 is more like a warehouse and a small factory. We have bags of white and yellow powder stacked up, along with the glass beads that make the lines shine at night when headlights hit them. It’s a very manual process. We have to heat the material up until it melts, and it smells quite strong when it’s cooking. The machines we use are heavy and take some effort to push along the asphalt. We spend a lot of time checking the mix to make sure it’s not too thin or too thick. The yard is usually dusty, and there are old buckets and stirrers lying around. We aren't a big corporate outfit with fancy suits. It’s just a group of us who know how to handle the heat and the chemicals. Most of our actual work happens at night when the roads are empty and we can lay down the lines without stopping traffic. During the day, we are back at the Moosarambagh address, cleaning the equipment and getting the next batch of material ready for the trucks to take out.
