Om Sai Janta Clinic

Om Sai Janta Clinic is situated right near the Latghat Chowk in Lat Ghat. Being so close to the chowk means we are in the middle of all the action in this area. You can see the buses and trucks passing through the intersection all day long. It is a very public and accessible spot for anyone who is traveling through Lat Ghat. The clinic itself is not very big, just a couple of rooms where we sit and work. We have been here for a long time, so the building looks a bit aged, but it is sturdy enough. Inside, the furniture is quite old and we have a few wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but it becomes like background music after you have worked here for a month or two. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of our notes and records are still kept in paper files. The staff is just a few local people who know the families in the area. When the weather is good, we keep the main door open to let in some fresh air. It is a simple Janta clinic without any flashy advertisements or modern glass walls. People know us because we are right there at the chowk, which is a place everyone passes eventually. It’s a humble setup, but it serves the community well enough for their daily needs.
