Verma Anil Kumar Architect

Our office is located at 25S, Swastik Vihar on Patiala Road in Zirakpur. Verma Anil Kumar Architect is essentially a small studio where we spend most of our waking hours. Zirakpur has grown so much lately, and Patiala Road is always buzzing with traffic and new buildings going up. We are tucked away in Swastik Vihar, which is a bit quieter than the main road itself. Inside, the space is filled with drawing tools and computer screens. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a table or looking at a screen. There’s usually a pile of blueprints in the corner that we haven't gotten around to filing yet. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time discussing projects and sometimes the debates get a bit loud, but it’s all part of the process. The air conditioning struggles a bit in the peak of summer, so we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. It’s a practical way to work. We like being in Zirakpur because everything is changing so fast around us. It gives us a lot to think about. We’ve been at this address for several years now and we’ve seen the whole street change. It’s a good spot for what we do. We just keep building.
