Simran Rice Mill

Simran Rice Mill is located in the Rupnagar district, quite close to the holy area of Chamkaur Sahib. We’ve been processing rice here for many years. It’s a family-run business and we take pride in the hard work we do. The mill is often a hub of activity, especially when the farmers from the surrounding villages bring in their paddy after the harvest. The machinery we use is old but reliable, and it takes a lot of effort to keep everything running smoothly. We don't have a fancy office or a marketing team. Most of our time is spent out on the floor, making sure the grain is husked and bagged correctly. It gets very dusty and the noise is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We know the farmers by name, and they know they can trust us with their crop. Rupnagar is a beautiful place to work, even if the labor is physically demanding. We don't have any grand visions for expansion. We just want to keep the mill going and provide a fair service to the local farming community. During the winter months, we huddle around small fires and drink hot tea while the machines hum in the background. It’s a life that follows the seasons, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It’s just how things are done here in Chamkaur Sahib.
