Inder Photography is based at No. 199 in Phase 6, Sas Nagar. It’s a local studio, nothing too crazy. We have our cameras and a few lights set up in the back for when people need portraits or those quick photos for IDs. Most of the time, though, the place is a bit of a jumble with camera bags, tripods leaning against the walls, and chargers plugged in everywhere. Inder is usually the one behind the lens or sitting at the computer trying to get the colors to look right on a print. We do all sorts of stuff, from small family things to just helping someone get a good shot of their kids. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with leather chairs. It’s just a couple of plastic stools and a table with some old magazines. People come in, we chat about what they need, and we get to work. Sometimes we’re out on the road for a shoot, so the shop stays locked for a few hours. It’s a small operation. We don’t use any of those high-end marketing tricks. We just take photos. Sometimes the lighting is tricky or the person is shy, and we just try to make it work. It’s a nice way to spend the day, looking at people’s faces and trying to capture a moment that doesn't look too forced. That’s pretty much us.
