Working at Sagri Foods Pvt Ltd in Mohali is a busy affair. Our place is at H. No. 1410/23, right in Phase 11. It’s a bit crowded around here because of all the other houses and small units. Punjab gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. The office is basically just a few rooms in the house. We spend a lot of time checking stocks and making sure everything is where it should be. The delivery trucks have a hard time turning in the narrow lanes of Phase 11. You can hear the noise from the main road if the windows are open. Most days start early with a lot of tea and looking over the paperwork. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just us and the food products we handle. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. It feels more like a home than a factory, to be honest. We’ve been in this Mohali spot for a while now and everyone knows where 1410/23 is. The paperwork piles up on the wooden desks, and we just go through it one by one. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t really do fancy meetings or presentations. We just talk over the crates or in the small kitchen area when there is a break. It's a practical way to run a business.
