Star Light Bar Academy

You can find us at Star Light Bar Academy on the first floor of the Real Estate Complex, number 64. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially if you’re carrying a lot of supplies for the day. The building is usually full of people doing different things, but our corner is mostly about glasses, shakers, and learning how to mix things properly. We aren’t some high-end school with marble floors or fancy lights. It’s just a practical space where we show people the ropes of the trade. Most of the folks who come here are looking to get a job in a bar or maybe just want to know what they are doing behind a counter. We have a few stations set up so everyone can practice without bumping into each other too much. Sometimes the music is a bit loud when we are trying to get into the rhythm of things. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes someone drops a glass on the floor, but that’s just part of learning, I suppose. The Real Estate Complex is a busy spot, so there is always noise coming from the street below. We just focus on what’s in front of us. It’s honest work, teaching people a skill they can actually use to go out and earn a living. We’ve been on this first floor for a while now and the walls have seen a lot of practice pours and mistakes.
