Patel Engineering Limited, Ntpc is located at 233, Sector-10, specifically on Dr. Kalra Street in Kharar. This is out in the Distt.-Mohali area of Punjab, 140301. It’s a residential-feeling area but we have our office set up here for the work we do. The street is usually alright, though it can get a bit crowded with parked cars sometimes. We’ve got a fairly simple setup inside. Just a bunch of desks, some shelves for files, and a space to talk about the ongoing engineering tasks. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it serves our purpose. Being in Sector-10 means we are close to some local shops, so grabbing lunch or a quick snack isn't an issue. We aren't big on fancy office culture. Most of us are just regular people trying to stay on top of the schedule. The weather in Punjab gets quite hot, so the fans are always going in the summer. Sometimes we have visitors from the site, and things get a bit loud and hectic for a few hours. That is just how it goes here. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock, someone will eventually come to the door and help you out. It’s a straightforward way of working. The streetlights on Dr. Kalra Street are a bit dim in the evening, so we usually try to wrap up before it gets too dark.
