Oscar Leather Pvt. Ltd. operates out of E-221 in the Industrial Area Phase VIII-B. This is a big industrial zone and we are just one of many units working here. As the name suggests, our daily life revolves around leather. The building at E-221 is where we process things and handle the business side of the company. It’s a very practical space with high ceilings and plenty of room for the heavy skins and the machinery used to treat them. The air always has that heavy, earthy scent of leather which you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the hides and making sure the finishing is done the way it should be. Phase VIII-B is a bit of a trek for some, but it is a good location for this kind of industrial work. There is plenty of space for the big trucks to come and go. Inside the unit, it’s mostly about the routine of moving leather from one stage to the next. We don't have any fancy reception areas or glossy brochures. We just have our desks, our tools, and the leather we work on every day. It’s hard work and it can be quite tiring, but we’ve been doing this for a long time now. We just focus on the material and getting the orders out on time.
