Op Jain & Sons

If you drive out toward Village Bhagwanpura on the Barwala Road, you’ll eventually see Op Jain & Sons. We are right there in the Derabassi area. It’s a family-run thing, mostly just us and a few helpers working the yard. Being out in the village means we have a bit more space, which is good because the materials we handle take up a lot of room. The Barwala Road can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is out here. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just pull their tractors or trucks right up to the front and we start loading. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we know most of the people who stop by. It’s a quiet life compared to the city, but the work is still hard. We deal with whatever comes our way and try to keep the stock levels right. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the ground gets soft. But we stay open and keep moving. We don’t go for big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we have. It’s a straightforward business. We just take care of the orders and make sure the accounts are kept in order. That’s plenty for us.
