Northstar Fastners

Northstar Fastners is based at Plot No. 9 in the EPIP area of Phase 1 in Jharmajri. We’ve been in this industrial patch for a good number of years. We deal with fasteners, which basically means nuts, bolts, and all the small metal bits that hold things together. The shop floor is usually pretty loud because of the machines running and the metal hitting the bins. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. Jharmajri is a busy place, and being in Phase 1 makes it easy for the trucks to find us. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the inventory and making sure the machines are making the right sizes. Sometimes the raw steel doesn't arrive when it's supposed to, and that messes up our schedule. We just work through the weekends when that happens. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to provide what the local factories need. Most of the people working here live in the nearby colonies. We know our neighbors and we all just try to get through the work week. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have any glossy brochures. If you need bolts, we usually have them somewhere in the stacks and buckets around the warehouse.
