Our office is located at Plot No. 76 in Royal Enclave, right in Sector-127 of Shivalik City. It’s near Gate No. 8 in Kharar, Mohali. Being in Punjab, we get plenty of sun, which is good because Mishka Renewables Pvt. Ltd. is all about that energy. We aren't in a big industrial park like some of the factories; it's a bit more of a quiet area, though the buildings are going up fast. We spend our days talking to people about solar panels and how to get their systems set up properly. There’s a lot of paperwork with the local electricity boards, and we spend a fair bit of time out on sites checking roofs or measuring angles. It's a small team here. We share a few desks and have maps and diagrams pinned to the walls. Sometimes we have samples of panels or mounting brackets lying around the office floor. Shivalik City is a nice place to work from, a bit less chaotic than the main city center of Mohali. We deal with the extreme heat in the summer and the thick fog in the winter, just like everyone else. Our focus is just getting the solar stuff installed and making sure it actually works for the people who buy it. People stop by sometimes to ask questions, and we just give them the plain facts. It’s a busy life, but it feels okay to be working with something useful like energy.
