Master Craft Industries

We have been running things at Plot No. 21 in Phase 9 for quite a long time now. Most mornings start with me unlocking the heavy front gate while the sun is still coming up over the industrial area. It’s a lot of manual labor here, and we don’t have any fancy office staff or people in suits walking around. It is mostly just the sound of machines and the smell of cut metal. Sometimes the power cuts out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit and talk until it comes back on. Master Craft Industries isn't a huge place, just a few of us making sure the orders get finished. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly assembly and some fabrication. My brother started this place years ago and I took over the daily floor management after he retired. We know the guys at the shop next door pretty well. If you come to find us, just look for the blue door near the end of the lane. We keep the scrap metal piled up in the back corner so the front stays clear for the delivery trucks. It is hard work, but we like the routine of it. We don't use the computer much, except for some basic billing stuff. We’d much rather be out there fixing a lathe or checking the dimensions on a new batch of parts by hand. That’s just the way we have always done it.
