Lok Sewa Old Age Home And Care Foundation

Our place is located at number 170 in Pride City, which is part of the New Shivjot Enclave over in Kharar. We call ourselves Lok Sewa Old Age Home And Care Foundation. It is a residential area so it stays fairly quiet most of the time, which is nice for the people staying with us. We started this place because we saw a real need for elderly care that did not feel like a cold institution. It is more like a big house where people can live and get the attention they need. We have some help here but it is mostly just us doing the daily chores, cooking meals, and making sure everyone is comfortable. Kharar is growing fast but our corner feels a bit more tucked away. It is not a perfect setup, sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or we have to repaint a room, but it is homey. We spend a lot of time just sitting and talking with the residents. They have a lot of stories to tell. We do not have any big corporate backers or anything like that. It is just a local effort. We try to keep everything clean and decent. If you walk into Pride City and look for 170, you will find us. We do not use a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just look after people and try to make sure they have what they need to get through the day comfortably.
