Leighton Cntractors

You can find us over at 1/60 Housing Board in Javahar Nagar. Bharatpur is a decent place to be based, and we have been in this particular spot for a good bit of time now. Leighton Cntractors is not a huge operation with hundreds of people in suits. It is more about the guys on the ground getting their hands dirty and making things happen. We keep our office tucked away in the housing board area because it is convenient for everyone to reach. Most days start early with a lot of talk about materials and which truck is going to which site. We do not spend much money on decorating the place. There are some old chairs and a desk that has definitely seen better days, but it works fine for us. We handle the local contracting work and try to stay on top of the paperwork, even if it piles up on the corner of the desk sometimes. People around here know where to find us if they need something sorted out on a site. It is not a fancy life, but it is honest work. We have our daily routines, like the tea break at eleven and the way we pack up the gear at the end of the shift. We are not trying to impress anyone with big words or promises. We just do the work that needs doing in Rajasthan and go home. That is the way it has always been for us.
