We are based out on Jhingran Road in the Chanalon area of Kurali. Aggarwal Plates is what we call the business, and we’ve been here for some time now. We make plates, and it’s a pretty noisy process once the machines get going. It’s not a glamorous job by any means. Most of the day is spent listening to the clatter of the presses and making sure everything is coming out right. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, which makes it a bit of a pain for the trucks coming in to pick up orders. We have stacks and stacks of finished plates waiting to go out. It’s a small team of us here, and we all just pitch in where we are needed. Sometimes I’m in the back checking the stock, and other times I’m out front talking to a driver. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a workshop and a storage area, basically. Kurali is a decent place to work, even if it’s a bit out of the way for some people. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the production moving so we don't fall behind. It gets pretty dusty in the warehouse, and we are usually covered in some kind of grit by the time we head home. It’s honest work and it keeps us out of trouble. Our neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so we all know what it's like to work hard.
